Congratulations to our winners! Our Olympians will travel to Atlantic City, New Jersey to compete in the national competition, this summer.

Welcome to SBDC

 SBDC is a competition for high school student teams to expand their interest in and explore the opportunities in the fields of interior design; architectural design; engineering;  construction; computer design; project management; etc. This will be accomplished via virtual course study to design an office.

What is ACT-SO

 

  • ACT-SO is a youth achievement enrichment program designed to recruit, stimulate, improve and encourage high academic and cultural achievement among high school students of African descent. 
  • The ACT-SO program centers on the dedication and commitment of community volunteers and business leaders to serve as mentors and coaches to promote academic and artistic excellence There are 33 categories of competition in the sciences, humanities, performing arts, visual arts, culinary arts, and business.

We're looking forward to this year's competition and building upon our rich legacy and winning pedigree! Your journey to the winner's platform begins, here. If you're ready to join the ranks of world changers, products of the FWTC ACT-SO program, download and complete the 2023 local application. 


You will also need to download our competition guidelines for each category. We want our Olympians to be fully prepared long before competition. These guidelines impact the local competition and prepare you for the national competition. Strict adherence to the competition guidelines help determine local winners and select our national competitors. Email any questions you may have to: ftwactso@gmail.com
